About the Swedish Ski Club
The Swedish Ski Club has some 200 members throughout the Northeast, who all share enthusiasm for winter sports and Scandinavian culture. The club organizes and participates in ski competitions in New England, and is represented in Vasaloppet in Sweden.
In Bondville, Vermont, about four hours drive from New York City, the Swedish Ski Club has a lodge big enough to accommodate almost 40 people. The lodge is about 15 minutes from Stratton, Bromley & Magic Mountains. Killington is 50 minutes away. Okemo and Mount Snow are also a short drive away.
The lodge has a sauna, living rooms, kitchen and dining area, and space to prepare skis for cross country as well as downhill. In the summer visitors can enjoy our pool after enjoying a day golfing, horeseback riding, shopping in nearby Manchester, or enjoying Bromley's alpine slide.
What is really special about the SSC is not so much the quaint, comfortable lodge or the convenient and beautiful location. It's the history and the sense of community that generations of families have experienced together. This was well expressed by Skeff Bisset in his short story, You Can Go Home Again.

JOIN THE SSC
The Swedish Ski Club is always welcoming new members. If you know someone or a family that you think would be a good candidate for membership in the club, please review the process of joining and then let our membership chair Camilla Morch know. |
