2007 INTERCLUB RACE RESULTS

Ascutney Mountain
The following is a summary of our performance at the 2007 Interclub Race. Click here for the PDF of results assembled by the Met NY Ski Council.
There were 13 participating clubs, and SSC had 11 members signed up. SSC came in third.
In the Giant Slalom Race:
Nina Jonsson came in 2nd in the Senior Women 40-54 category with 32:14.
Christina Balotescu came in 1st in the women under 40 category with 45:55.
Matt Connery placed second in the Elite Man 55-64 category with 49:11.
Per Tuneblom in the 3 veteran category got 32:49
Carl Jahn also in the 3 veteran category got 34:64.
Rolf Klaeboe, Klas Holm, Einar Ulfsson and Birgir Nilsen did not race.
Christian finished 4th in the 4Man category, with 1:15:87 after losing a ski at the first gate and ran up to get it!
In the Slalom race:
Nina Jonsson placed second in the Senior Woman category, with 0:50:54.
Matt Connery placed second in the Elite Man category, with 1:21:52.
Carl Jahn got 53:18.
Per Tuneblom got 54:69.
Christina placed first (as the only racer!) in the Woman category, with 1:18:75.
Christian was disqualified.
